Nico's Weg

   Nico's Weg Rezension

This story tells of a man named Nico Di who just arrived in the city of Cologne in Deutschland who aims to meet his aunt, Yara, where his adventure begins with the loss of Nico's bag because someone else accidentally took it. Mia, an aunt from Emma, helps Nico find his bag. He also introduced his friends and lived with them for a while. There is a new clue that Yara's place of work is named Yara's Fahrradland, but Yara is not there and no one knows where she is. Not long after they lived, Nico couldn't live with them anymore, so he moved in with an old grandmother who lived alone named Inge. Mia's friend, Sarah, accidentally found Nico's bag on the side of the road, luckily his important items were not stolen. Many things happened, and it was revealed that Yara went to Zeruch to meet Sarah's parents. When Yara came home, he was surprised why Nico was here? and why is he here?

This story is a cliff hanger story, there is still a sequel to this story in section A2 onwards. After watching the A1 part I was still confused and there were still many unanswered questions in the film. But my curiosity was covered by a very flat and ordinary storyline, because after I watched this film I still couldn't determine where the climax was. But apart from the storyline, this film focuses on learning German and its culture. This film is quite successful in showing the German culture such as how the daily life is there .I understand a quarter of the film without using google translete or anything, just reading the German subtitles listed, but three-quarters of the impression I have started to lose from the storyline and confused because there are many words that I don't know and the material hasn't been studied, finally I use google translete for help. I watched this film twice to better understand the storyline and the characters' words.

This film is perfect for beginners to watch, because in my opinion one of the factors that makes the storyline flat is that this film focuses on German culture and has more conversation than action. There are many materials used in this film such as: self-introduction, saying greetings, saying thank you, colors, objects, articles, 5W + 1H, wording, family, literature, nominative, akkusative, posessive pronouncements, etc. Make U know how to pronounce expressions and intonations in everyday conversation. This film provides an overview of the application of these materials and what will come in everyday life in Germany. Watching this film made me want to learn more German, and maybe watch German films that are already advanced. I give this film a rating of 7.7 / 10, it's not a bad score because this is the first German film I watched.
